I would like to be clear that this review is not about the staff in the local store. They were great. Best Buy corporate though is a hot mess. I bought a refrigerator from them, initial delivery quick, good service. The refrigerator wouldn't keep temperature, so I asked for an exchange. From there, it has been a week of talking to their "AI" phone system that is useless, online chat, or on hold for the central phone number. Two delivery windows for the exchange unit were set and they ghosted me - no calls, no texts, no emails. I have to contact them for an excuse and reset the appointment for which I get - no calls, no texts, no emails. There has been a week of this with no contact from anyone at Best Buy unless I contact their central call center who knows NOTHING and keeps telling me to call back on another day after their system updates. The number online for the local store? Goes to the national callcenter. You are not allowed to call the local store at ALL any more. Best Buy is great if you walk in, buy something and take care of it yourself. Need something after sale? They have eliminated all pretense of customer service. A good sign of that? This review will get zero response other than a social media link (hint, I don't use Facebook, X, or Insta). Look up my name for a recent purchase of an LG refrigerator on July 26 and give me a call if you actually care. Edit: In my review, I said don't just give me a social media link, call me if you actually care. What did they do? Cut and pasted the social media links from their earlier responses. Translation? "We don't care".
