Helpful car stereo system advice.
Service is NON-EXISTENT in this place. I asked three associates for assistance with locating an item and not any one of them could help me. Their inventory was low also.
This store might be pretty decent in other aspects but for me, I didn't have a very remarkable experience coming here for the first time. My laptop needed a RAM upgrade, and I decided to go to Best Buy in order to know their rates. However, the associate at the front desk was quite unbothered to attend to me, so I had to wait a minute or two, and when he did, he told me that laptops like mine couldn't have their RAM changed because the chips were soldered onto the motherboard, which wasn't true because I knew from a YouTube teardown video that the chips could be interchanged.
I then went to the Geek Squad, where I found an associate there simply making small talk with other customers, and I had to wait an additional 5 minutes for them to finish. The Geek Squad associate told me the same thing, that the RAM was soldered, then he got someone else to open the laptop and check the RAM. This process took at least 20 minutes, after which I told the associate that I just needed my laptop back and he returned it to me. When I looked at the laptop, I found scratches on the lid casing which I had never seen before.
TL;DR, I went to this Best Buy for a RAM upgrade, but the people there were unknowledgeable and constantly delayed me. They scratched my laptop and wasted my time.
