Geek squad at this particular BestBuy needs to get their employees trained onto the same page. This Caucasian boy appeared to be in his early 20s with long hair blonde or red headed I can not remember but, he had the nerve to falsely accused me saying that I had both water damage and had tampered with my AirPods when I clearly did. He literally misread everything which as a business that literally looks super bad making accusations on a customer without being 100% certain of such thing especially when your job revolves around doing warranty claims for customers. It literally states both of those things listed as being “limitations” meaning if either of those things were actually found on my AirPods they wouldn’t be covered under warranty. He then proceeded to say he cannot ship my AirPods to Apple because according to “him” he was 100% certain they had water damage and had been tempered with. Mind you the pictured I attached was from a previous work order on these particular set of AirPods. I literally called Apple once I left this BestBuy and they were livid saying how I as a customer was accused of such things when those things are literally stated as limitations. Apple customer service is literally 100% top notch in comparison to BestBuy, Apple got me situated and I got replacement from them. I hop BestBuy reaches out and at least gives me some compensation for this false accusation.
I came in to the Geek Squad counter at Best Buy just to ask if they had a replacement battery available for my iPhone, and the experience was really disappointing. The white guy with brunette hair at the counter was not helpful at all — he told me he couldn’t even check if they had it available. He seemed annoyed and fed up with customers, even though I was simply asking a question. I waited in line to talk to someone, and when it was finally my turn, he was super dismissive and still trying to finish with the previous customer. I left feeling frustrated and unheard — definitely not the kind of service I expected from Geek Squad.

Some of the employees are really friendly and great, and sometimes you can get a good deal on tech there around black friday like on a phone. Always compare prices online. The location is clean enough. When they are in a good mood, high five the staff. Most of them rock.
But one time we went in to buy a TV and the tv sales guy was really rude when we asked where to find it 'cause we weren't interested in a super big expensive one, and that sticks with me. i dont remember his name but it was some white guy and he sucks. i would give him a 1/10 and the location a 4/5, but his existence on this planet gives this store a 3/5 for me because every time i come in for something i cringe. really hate that one dude in particular

I wasn’t personally buying anything but the staff were friendly and thorough with explanations.
