This is a 10 star, A++ review for Scott Schnabel and all the Premium (formerly Magnolia) Home Theater installation team (I'm sorry to not remember the 2 installers names but hope Best Buy management can identify them for recognition, they worked tirelessly all day and even made an extra trip to the Woodlands store for more wire). From walking into the Conroe, TX store and being helped by Scott in the TV section to his home visit for his theater equipment recommendations to the team members who installed our system--every detail went seamlessly. Even after our home theater was installed, we needed a home visit to help us understand the Sonos system better as we were having some technical troubles. Scott is one of the best communicators to stay in touch with his customers and once we contacted him, he set-up a home visit with Nicole to help us. Nicole figured out the problem within a few minutes of looking over our WiFi and router network. During her visit, she suggested we call our WiFi provider to upgrade our service, re-positioned our routers, and showed us on her app how the Sonos system instantly improved! And btw, we have NEVER had as good of home theater system as we have now, all because of Scott's recommendations! In the past, we've had very nice tvs, and a Premium team Sonos system home installation in another state, but this time, its the best ever!! We absolutely love our home theater system with the NeoQLED (non-glare) 75" tv, Sonos ceiling, Sub wolfer, tv bar and Move 2 speakers. The Best Buy Conroe/Woodlands Premium Installation team knocked it out-of-the-park and we couldn't be happier or recommend them and the equipment more highly to anyone who is looking at doing the same for their home. If we ever move again, we already know we want Scott and the same team to do our home theater! (see a few art sample photos below that shows the superior quality of our tv).
We found Best Buy most helpful when returning a defective printer. Joshua was knowledgable and respectful of a couple of old people who didn't have a clue.
Horrible customer service. I purchased a TV on a Sunday the 16th i was told they couldn't deliver it until Friday the 21st. I waited, the screen was cracked, I started calling everyday getting the run around. Now my TV will be delivered September 3rd.. I'm honestly not holding my breath because 2 people today told me they delivered one to my house today which of course they had not. Unbelievably bad communication
solid for browsing, hit-or-miss for everything else.
Walk in and you’ll find a clean layout with a wide selection of TVs, laptops, phones, appliances, and accessories you can actually touch and compare. Some staff are helpful and know their stuff; others are stretched thin or push memberships and protection plans hard. Checkout is usually quick.
Prices are rarely the lowest—Amazon and others often undercut them—but price matching exists (with limits and occasional friction). Open-box deals can be good if you inspect carefully; quality varies. Geek Squad and delivery/install services get mixed-to-poor feedback: some smooth experiences, plenty of delays, damaged items, or unhelpful support.
Bottom line: Convenient for seeing products in person and same-day pickup. Fine for straightforward purchases. Expect frustration if you need service, returns with complications, or big-ticket installs. Not terrible, not great—depends heavily on the location and the day.
