Terrible customer service experience buying TVs - I purchased two new LG OLED TVs (over $1k each), and one was repackaged, which I didn't notice until I got it home. In the package, there was no remote, owners manual, legs, or mounting hardware. So I called, and was on hold for 20+ minutes, so decided to go back to the store. Upon arrival, was informed they could not locate the missing parts, so asked me to return the entire TV for an exchange. I also brought my old 65" TV for recycling, and they very rudely would not accept it "because it was too large". Maybe just following the rules, but they should have taken it for a paying customer when they also messed up my order. In the end, I returned the TV, and found the same one for the same price at Target, where I had a night and day better customer experience. If you're looking for a TV, go to Target. Best Buy lost a customer for life over this experience.
UPDATE: Graham - responding to your response below - I do not have any of the social medias you reference, so cannot provide further details that way. But my details are well-covered in the summary above, and I will not be bringing any more business to Best Buy at the Cypress location or anywhere else.
