Pretty typical Best Buy, there were people that were able to help me with some questions, but I find the inventory to be very low… a lot of the electronics are gone or there might just be one on the shelf, the item I was looking for had one open box available… so they are clearly fighting Amazon.
I purchased a fridge and got an installation date of this Friday the 30th August. Best Buy screwed up the installation, not sending the right people. I have had no call from them today, either to apologize or set up another time. I had to call customer support. They treat me as if there is nothing wrong with them and it is my problem. There is no call, no apology and they say I have to wait to Thursday for the next slot. It is ridiculous!
An update as it is now Thursday and Best Buy managed to screw it up again!! Despite my many calls to their customer support line and assurances that notes had been added that would make sure that 4 folks came out to remove the old fridge, still only 2 showed up. Apparently they don't really read their own notes (no, really, that is what they told me). So now they will try again Tuesday. A word of advice from Best Buy is that you need to skip customer support and go straight to the "Large Appliance corporate team".
