Update:THE INCOMPETENCE IS UNBELIEVABLE! I have been trying to get the new TV delivered for 8 weeks! The last time they came out with a new TV some genius had cancelled the installation portion (which I paid $250 for). Also they said they wouldn't be able to install the new TV anyway because the TV on the wall (the one with faulty volume control) hadn't been removed (I live alone and it is too large for me to remove). They said that they aren't allowed to touch the old TV (I blocked out another full day for this wasted appt). They also gave me a Facebook link to contact for the redelivery that doesn't exist!
Ordered a top of the line TV that was defective. For weeks I called to get a new TV delivered. I was always told it was "in transit" (sitting on a truck) which was supposedly a system glitch. I rescheduled (to set an appt, they want you to block out an entire day (7 am-7 pm), which is ridiculous). The driver cancelled the redelivery (he called an hr before the time, when I was in a doctor's appt). I called back 10 min later and he refused to answer. I have been trying to reschedule for weeks (total time = 6 wks). I called and the person told me that she couldn't schedule it (despite the fact that it was the same number as before). She gave me another number, which I called. She told me that an appt had already been scheduled for the next day between 7 am -7 pm. I told her that it was a mistake - that I had never discussed or agreed to an appt and I was fully booked already. She said that if it wasn't a mistake, someone would call that night to narrow the appt from 12 hrs to 4 hrs and I could tell them to cancel. They never called but they showed up the next day and, of course, I wasn't home. Another woman called me after that. I have called her back 3 times and left messages and she has never called again. AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE! I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM BEST BUY AGAIN! UPDATE - 12/29 - ONCE AGAIN, They randomly scheduled a delivery on 12/30 from 7 am - 7 pm without consulting with me or even informing me. I just happened to call. I explained to the woman that I WORK AND I COULD NOT BLOCK OUT THE ENTIRE DAY (7am - 7 pm) until they notify me of a narrower window the night before.She put me on hold and hung up on me!
I had a salesman Nathan helped me pick a cool convertible freezer/ fridge and I got a heck of an open-box deal. Kudos to Nathan for his advice and beyond assistance on my purchase.
8 stars for the lady working at the front at 1:30 PM who helped me decide to buy this webcam, 0 stars for the two others who were like “no it’s impossible” (averages out to 4 stars so pretty good shop)
