I worked for Best Buy for years and this store is an embarrassment. After waiting over an hour for my online order I decided to go into the store. I browsed for a little bit, then I asked if my order was ready. I was told it would be “prioritized” so I continued to browse and let them have more time to get it. After another 10-15 minutes I went back and asked again. I was told it was in stock (come to find out later there was only one) which I can understand inventory issues. I even offered to go find one on the shelf (before I knew I wouldn’t be able to find one) and was told that I wasn’t allowed to do that. But what got me was instead of them coming back over to me, while I was sitting at the waiting area, they marked my order as unavailable and my app notified me the order was no longer available. Not one person apologized or even offered to have the order moved to another store or shipped. Not one person asked if I needed help the entire time I browsed. No one communicated anything. The inventory even said they had multiple open items of this item which I would have been fine with, but they did not want to offer any assistance for anything. This store has very poor customer service, poor inventory management, and overall needs an overhaul. After reading the other recent reviews it seems like this is a newer issue. I hope the management sees these and makes appropriate changes. It’s not the inventory issues, it’s the lack of customer service. Do better.

Purchased a Samsung 75 inch TV with a free Samsung sound bar. I had a neighbor come set it up as I am disabled. Neighbor used to deliver and set up electronics at a place other than Best Buy. The Sound bar was NOT compatible with the TV and couldn't be installed. TV kept freezing up and shutting off and restarting. I called customer service and asked them to exchange the TV and sound bar. They told me I had to pay $250 for them to unplug the old TV and plug in the new one. No exceptions. Store manager at this Lake Worth Texas. Best Buy on Quebec st. Told me flat out that Best Buy made a mistake pairing the sound bar with that TV but that they wouldn't make.any concessions at all. Customer service was a nightmare in itself. I couldnt understand most of what they said since English wasn't their first language. Customer service manager told me they couldnt schedule a pick up and return for me because their system was down. She said she'd call me back the next day and of course didn't. The problem seemed to be that they wanted to charge me $250.00 to unplug two wires on the old broken TV and plug in those same two wires on a new TV. The store manager admitted that their corporate offices made a huge mistake in offering an incompatible sound bar to that certain TV and still wouldn't make any consessions whatsoever to help. Horrible customer service. Horrible planning. Total ignorance in customer service. (Because of Best Buy policy) I'll never go there again. That truly makes me sad.
