I spoke with Armando today, one of the managers for Geek Squad at this location. I wanted to purchase a product that they offer on their online website, but instead of bringing the purchase to the store, I was told they will not match marketplace pricing on their website and essentially instead would refer to losing the sale completely.
I wasn’t asking for an additional discount. The only thing that I was asking for was to match the price listed on their online marketplace so that I could purchase a product in store versus having it shipped and have the ability to purchase the protection plan.
Instead, they refused to match the price for the marketplace third-party on bestbuy.com and instead would prefer to lose the sale entirely.
This is disappointing for Best Buy as I’ve been a customer for over 25 years.
