I'd hate to do this to a local store but things are so bad with best buy that they do not even reply to reviews on their corporate website.
I preordered the ROG xbox ally x the minute it was available online. took time off work and everything for it. got an email this morning that it didn't go through (it cost $999.99 so my bank wanted to confirm the charge). Received an email at 3 am that I had 47 hours to correct the issue. Two hours later, my order was canceled. I reached out to their outsourced customer service and they informed me there was nothing they could do but reorder it. the option they give me is to receive it in December instead of October 16th. their email was a lie and now I'm stuck without a product I was really excited for and went out of my way to secure, trusting best buy.
Save yourself alot of trouble and just order through Amazon like most people to these days anyways. better deals and better customer support

My go to store just bought a computer and staff was very helpful!!!!
This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Best Buy. I went in to pick up an online order, and not one, not two, but three employees told me that since I purchased a 98” TV, I qualified for free delivery and mounting. After more than an hour of them going back and forth trying to figure it out, they finally admitted they couldn’t fix it in the system and later told me that it was actually a mistake on their end — that the free services don’t apply to my TV.
They completely wasted our time and still couldn’t resolve the issue. To make matters worse, the manager, Mia, was extremely unhelpful and disrespectful. She lacked professionalism and basic customer service skills. After spending this much money, the least I expected was empathy and honesty. Do better, Best Buy — this experience was completely unacceptable.
