Best Buy Georgetown

Didn't like this store very much. Not sure if it was the time (1h before closing) but it felt a bit depressing and not much interest from the crew to help. Again might have been the time, but I won't get back.

Best Buy on W University Ave in Georgetown is a really solid electronics store and one of the better Best Buy locations I’ve visited. The store is large, bright, clean, and very well organized, with a good variety of products on display instead of everything being hidden in boxes. There are dedicated sections for TVs, home theater, audio, headphones, smart home products, computers, mobile accessories, gaming, appliances, and even electric bikes. I especially liked that you can actually see and compare many products in person. The audio area has displays from JBL, Marshall, Sony, Samsung, Bose and others, and there was also a nice Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses display where you can check out the different models. The TV and home theater section is also quite extensive, with large OLED and QLED models from brands like LG, Samsung and Sony. There’s plenty of space to walk around and compare screen sizes and picture quality without feeling cramped. The store overall felt well maintained and easy to navigate. Signage for departments such as Smart Home, Kitchen, Laundry and Home Theater makes it simple to find what you’re looking for. They also have a Geek Squad area for support and services. Inventory looked pretty good across most categories, although a few displays and shelves had some empty spaces. That’s normal for a busy electronics store and didn’t really affect the experience. A very convenient place in Georgetown if you want to see electronics in person before buying rather than ordering everything online. Good selection, modern displays, lots of major brands, and a pleasant store to browse. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re shopping for electronics, accessories, TVs, audio equipment or smart home products.

Very helpful employees

came in separate 3 times to get my iphone screen fixed with apple care + and they wasted my time just to tell me to go to an actual apple store and that they can’t fix it. Would have been nice knowing that the first time 👎 geek squad is useless
