The guy at the customer service desk was help. On the other hand they have “vendors” rumoring around asking actual customers if they need help… when infact they do not work there. It’s a pretty odd and strange interaction when a man comes up to you asking if you need help , you talking to them to only discover they do not work there and they wanted a conversation with you for no reason whatsoever.

Update: OMFG this is some of the worst customer service I've ever encountered. I got three different answers from three different reps. 1 told me my phone couldn't be released because my bank refused to transfer the funds even though the funds were removed from my account. The second rep told me best buy does a verification check on all purchases due to fraud. The third rep told me it's because I have multiple best buy accounts and that triggered a review in the system. The result was that Even though I have a driver's license and the card I used to purchase the phone best buy wouldn't release the phone until the next day. The kicker? All the verification process was askinh me over the phone my name, phone number and email address. Apparently that's verification but me literally showing up at the store with my driver's and card isn't proof that I'm committing fraud. I will never purchase something online for in person pick up unless it's heavily discounted. The only reason I went through this process instead of canceling was because the phone was $400 off and Amazon refused to allow me to pick it up at Whole Foods. Best buy is a bottom of the barrel retailer. Ready in one hour shouldn't mean 3 hours later we'll tell you we're still preparing your order and gave no idea when you can pick it up. Last time I shopped with Best Buy was December 2023 and now I remember why.

Walked in to look at TVs and was convinced to get a TV by Chris because of his extensive knowledge on TVs sold there. He demoed & explained the differences between all the TV models to help us make an informed buy! Helped us pick out the best HDMI cable as well, he is amazing at his job. If I hadn’t gone in the next day to purchase the TV while he was off, this would’ve been a 5 star review. Unfortunately our treatment without him was very disappointing. It is obvious that the people working Sunday’s are not helpful or knowledgeable. Down right lazy! When we walked in associate Will was sitting on the counter at the front of the store wearing a grill in his mouth… we asked to speak to the manager as instructed by Chris to ensure we get what we needed. Will told us we don’t need the manager, and encouraged us to buy tv on Best Buy app instead thru their marketplace with a third party instead of in store. Went to tv section trying to purchase and no one helped. Eventually tracked down someone who ended up being the manager Phillip, and her asked if there was someone who could help us purchase because we had been waiting for awhile. He seemed bothered to have to help us. Had an attitude instead of helping a customer going to spend thousands of dollars at the location. Explained that we had been waiting for awhile to be helped and he showed no empathy or concern for the lack luster service provided. Been made to feel unappreciated. The only reason I give 2 stars is because Chris is amazing! Customer service has really gone down the drain. Decided to buy from Bunker Hill location instead. Way better treatment.

I was met with a fairly young rep after asking about RAM sticks and they returned with a different ecen younger rep who- by using his cell phone- was lookong up to see if they had the specific RAM I needed. When there didn't seem to be an option that would work he offered to order the one I needed to be delivered to my house the next day. The RAM arrived and after taking my PC apart found out he ordered me RAM for a desktop which won't fit in a laptop. This set me back quite significantly
