Scam buy it is. For 60th anniversary, best buy advertised about gift card offer. These employers (scammers) sold themselves internally and none for the customers. Sad buy.

Waste of time and I’m also reminded of why I stopped shopping at Best Buy nearly 10 years ago. Service is trash and don’t even think about buying any of their open box or refurbished items. I needed a carry friendly item for my business so I decided to purchased an open box tablet with keyboard. At the time of pickup, the girl couldn’t get the serial number to scan so she ended up having to open the box up. Thank God because to my surprise, there was no keyboard. After mentioning it, she stated that it “should” be included in the notes if an accessory is missing. I checked the description and the receipt and verified that that was not mentioned, so it should have had the keyboard. No apology, other options or anything … just a simple “So do you want to do a return?” I purchased a gift card for the item but if it was not for that, I would definitely not be looking for a different item with them online. Definitely would continue choosing other places in the future.
