I'm an idiot. After my last purchase turned into a saga of failures, hours of wasted time, some blatant and proven lies, I swore I wouldn't order again. Well, my printer broke and I hurriedly made an online purchase. Idiot.
The delivery driver arrived and they hadn't loaded my item at the store. The driver was lovely, they aren't at fault. The store made a mistake.
So they leave. I check the order throughout the day and it says, "delivery by 9pm". OK. They are going to reassign to another driver.
No.
After midnight the tracking refreshes. Says it will be delivered today on the initial screen. But when you go into the details it's, "Delivery canceled at 4.36pm". That's the screen I'd been checking and that didn't refresh until after midnight. No email, text or call.
So, this morning I contacted them. The delivery shows canceled, the order shows active.
Apparently, I have to wait for the cancelation to process to the item. They can't say when. Then my refund will process a few days later. I can pay again for a new order but they can't reassign my failed delivery.
This is where Best Buy fails badly, when they make a mistake. The policies don't allow a customer focused resolution. The customer is left spending a silly amount of time trying to resolve the issue and it inevitably involves a lot of vagueness.
Now I'll sit in limbo.

Great service. Had a bit of a problem at checkout but our guy who checked us out was patient and handled the situation well and in the end we were able to fix the problem and make our purchase.
First, the only reason they are getting 2 stars is they were very helpful in questions I had about switching from an android phone to an iPhone. Otherwise, I feel the employees here are either all liars or all clueless. I recently bought an macbook air and was told I could open up a credit card and get member pricing, and double the points back since I would be a new account holder and my first purchase. At first I said no because I wanted to pay with my travel credit card since I love to travel and those points are more useful to me personally. They said I could use that card to pay my bill later and by using a best buy card it would earn me almost 300 dollars in reward money back that I could put towards the macbook air essentially bringing the price down. I questioned it at least 3 to 4 times with 2 different employees at that time that I would be getting almost 300 back and could use that to bring my card balance down and they said yes. So I decided to open the card, which I never do at any store and proceeded on. A few days later it went on sale and I went back to price match and got another 100 taken off. I confirmed the same thing with another employee at customer service that I could use the rewards to bring the balance down and that I could pay with my travel credit card and she said yes. So now that's 3 employees. Now today I went to a best buy in the woodlands to pay the balance because the points kicked in and i wanted to pay it off and come to find out I only got 135 in rewards and can't use them towards my account balance nor can I even pay with my travel credit card. So the people at the Humble location are either liars, frauds, or negligent at their jobs...either way it's bad. We are talking credit here and flat out lying to a customer and it was 3 people total all saying the same damn lie is not okay. I lost lots of travel credit by not using my own card like I wanted and paid more than I thought I would due to getting way less credit than they promised. Never open a card with best buy. They are liars and scam artist at their finest.
