Walked in to buy the new insta360. Asked for someone to open the case so I could buy it. (There are about 5 blue shirts at the front of the store, one of which is chit chatting with her friend) waited by the case for 10 minutes. If you don't want to sell things, just close the store.

Unfortunately, Best Buy is taking the heat for this complaint because of their 3rd party installer. We paid for a tv mount install and the person did a crap job and didn't even attach the faceplate correctly. We have a hole in the wall, basically. No facecover. Now we have to go back through best buy to get the installation fixed, and have to wait ANOTHER week to get it corrected. You would think we would be able to get this fixed immediately, but we are being told we have to wait another week. I learned that Geek Squad can't do these types of installs (they aren't bonded), so they look for a 3rd party. The young man at Best Buy (Killeen) who sold us the tv also did not have a lot of knowledge of what was needed for this install. Instead of getting assistance, he kept saying things "should be" ok or "should work" ok. We had to ask for someone to assist him. It turned out that the things that "should work" would not work. At the store level, the associates need to seek help when they don't know the answer to help the customer. note to self: go somewhere else

We were shopping for a TV and had specific needs for a project, and James took the time to help us look up mounting options to make sure the TV would work perfectly for what we needed. He made the entire process easy — no pressure, just great service. He also helped with checkout and even wheeled the TV out to our truck and helped us load it.
