I saw a nice car stereo on display that was marked for clearance. I read the description and scanned the QR code to make sure. Sure enough, it was on clearance for a great discount. I called the store clerk who fetched the stereo for me. I took it up front and the cashier told me the amount due, which was an enormous amount compared to the sale price listed. I then showed him the item's price online that I retrieved from the QR code. The cashier pointed out conflicting model numbers. I went to the back and sure enough, they had misadvertised two different model numbers at the same display. I was very frustrated, because I had just left another Best Buy an hour before where they falsely advertised another car stereo. Excellence is not a value that they adhere to. Read my other review for more information. I'm a Best Buy Plus member and credit card holder. I will not be renewing my membership or using my credit card anytime soon.

We were told that install on our new TV would be $250. They neglected to tell us that if it's mounted over a mantle there is another $130 charge. We found this out when the installers showed up. This is deceptive marketing. We should have been told this up front. Installation was half the cost of the TV. The installers were great but very unhappy with the Best Buy store.
