I purchased a 55” and a 50” Samsung TV. They only had the 55” in stock and selected to have the 50” delivered. Once we opened the box of the 50” tv we realized that it was damaged. We went to the store to exchange it and were told very rudely by the manager Daniel C. that they could not accept the tv. He told us that we had to call FedEx directly and have them handle the return because it was a 3rd party shipper. I told him that no where on their website did it mention that if we had a tv delivered Best Buy would no longer handle the return. As a matter of fact, I had it on my phone where the website specifically states that if you receive an item that is damaged you could return it as the store. Daniel C wouldn’t even look at my phone. He just kept repeating that it was their policy and that all retailers were the same. He even walked away as if he couldn’t be bothered anymore. The next morning I called the 800 number on the website and a very nice employee apologized for the misinformation the local manager had and proceeded to help me with the return.
