I had a really frustrating experience at Best Buy. I went in to return my Apple desktop so I could switch to an Apple laptop, and I was told by customer service that I had to go back home and reset the device myself because their WiFi “wasn’t good enough” to do it in store.
This was especially inconvenient because I had my baby with me — I was pushing a stroller while also carrying the desktop. It felt really dismissive and unhelpful given the situation.
After leaving, I called customer service and was told that they actually can assist with this in store. I ended up going to another Best Buy location, and they helped me without any issue.
Definitely disappointed with the lack of support and inconsistency. I hope this location improves their customer service, especially for parents or anyone needing a little extra help.
