I went to this location to purchase an Android tablet. The shelf that housed the Lenovo tablets caught my attention. There were four different models listed with price tags but only one model was on display. The model on display said "Lenovo Model M11" and the price was $119. I did a little research on the internet comparing the difference between that model and the higher priced Lenovo Tab Plus. I decided to go with the cheaper model so I took the last tablet to the register. The girl rings me up and said it was $219. I told her it was listed for $119. She asked for a picture of the price tag so when I brought it back she said that was for another model. I asked to speak with the manager and walked with him over to the shelf. I showed him that there was not a single price tag that reflected $219. He just pulled out his device that scans the price tag and begins to explain that it is for a different model that is somehow not shown on the shelf. There is not a single shred of information about another model of tablet. He offered no apology for the confusion or any reason why the store lacked the proper information. I am pretty sure this is pretty much a bait and switch situation because they bait you with an inexpensive price only to charge you $100 more. They are probably hoping a customer might not pay attention and simply pay the higher cost or they hope that the person interested in the tablet already has it in their mind that they are going to purchase the tablet and they already walked it all the way over to the register. I had no such problems with the Best buy location on the west side of McAllen. I will be doing all my shopping there from now on even if it means driving a little extra
