Came to this location, June 27 at 6:30 PM and the front desk service was unacceptable. Three employees there and I was waiting for three minutes just to get served. I had to acknowledge them from their conversation just for them to complete my purchase. A middle-aged woman and a Caucasian individual did not even acknowledge my presence. They were making jokes when I asked for service. A Latino male completed my transaction and he And he was great.
I was told because of theft associates are not allowed to let a customer physically handle locked merchandise even to read the box. Totally ridiculous. Instead of fighting theft properly law abiding customers pay the price while thieves are free to walk out fearlessly. I was prepared to spend more than $600 right then. Manager was very apologetic. I'm done with Best Buy. I went home yesterday purchased what I wanted from Amazon no stress involved. I'm also considering canceling my Best Buy credit card. Best buy no more. At least at the beltway and Fairmont location...
