Best Buy has always been my favorite store — but this time, I’m writing out of frustration.
The experience started off great. I went online, received technical support to purchase an item, and the representative recommended all the necessary spares and additional parts for a proper installation. We even scheduled an installation date. Up to that point, everything was smooth, and I truly appreciated the service.
Then I received a call from the installer letting me know they had been overbooked and needed to reschedule. While inconvenient, I completely understood — these things happen, and overall the service had still been good.
However, I was told that I needed to replace a specific part and that I had to order it before the installation date. That was fine — except no one ever sent me the correct part number to purchase.
When I tried calling customer service the, it felt like calling a space station. First, no one able to connect me with the store. That in addition to the no use to the automated AI system. After all of this, I’ve decided to cancel my $$ order and look elsewhere this time.
I still love the store — but this experience has been disappointing.
