All ppl were very kind and helpful. I was able to make my purchase well and efficiently. Got a better price than Amazon on a tv.
Lousy experience of having driven 2hrs to Round Rock from San Antonio to pick up an open box mobile phone that had been supposedly checked and tested by their Geek Squad - and I repeatedly asked the team about this - only to discover back home that the team hadn't even bypassed the previous owners screen lock code. They possibly only checked it for cosmetic blemishes. Had to take it to a local Best Buy to process a full refund which thankfully was done smoothly. But a complete waste of time and money on this trip. Will never again trust any device that has been Geek Squawk tested.

Extremely disappointing experience.
Many of us waited in line for hours after Best Buy announced there would be plenty of Pokémon cards available. After all that waiting,only fewer than 15 people were able to buy. It’s incredibly frustrating and makes no sense that an entire shipment would be gone that quickly.
As a collector, this left me with the impression that regular customers never had a fair chance. The way this release was handled raises serious concerns and creates the appearance that product may be getting diverted before it reaches legitimate customers, while scalpers continue to resell these products for double or even triple the retail price.
Collectors shouldn’t have to compete with this. Best Buy should investigate what is happening at this location and ensure that inventory is handled fairly and transparently so actual fans have a chance to buy these products.
