5 Stars for Dave & David in-store, 1 Star for Best Buy Corporate/Logistics/Online. I’ve had back‑to‑back terrible experiences ordering through Best Buy’s online system. Items don’t arrive, orders get marked “backordered” without any notification, and every attempt to get help turns into being passed from agent to agent like a hot potato. It’s exhausting. Because of that, I’ve had to go into the store multiple times just to get real help and that’s where Manager Dave and his team shine. Dave actually listens, takes ownership, and finds solutions. People like him are the only reason long‑time customers like me, 15+ years with a Best Buy credit card and Total Tech Member, are still hanging on. If Best Buy ever loses leaders like Dave, I’m done. I’d move everything to Crutchfield in a heartbeat because their online customer service which is all they have is miles ahead. I prefer face to face, old‑school service, and this store delivers that. It just shouldn’t be their job to constantly clean up the mess created by Best Buy’s online and logistics failures. Corporate needs to give Dave a raise and start listening to their in‑store teams about what’s actually happening with the customer experience. Without that, the clock is ticking and AI customer service will eat your lunch. Huge thanks to Dave and David for keeping me loyal and keeping my tech dollars for my business and personal life in your store.

I recently went in for a new CPU. After the guy got the product from the cabinet, he starting ringing up my order. I said "can I look at the box" as this is a particularly delicate and expensive piece of hardware. The box was crumpled up, it had definitely been crushed/smashed somehow. I said "ah man I don't want to buy this." he said "okay let me look around". Found out that there was no more product nearby and said "here I'll ship it to you, it'll be there tomorrow." I think to myself "great, it'll just take another day." Little did I know, he literally meant that he would ship the exact same product that I did not want to purchase in store. So instead of me getting a new product shipped from elsewhere, he shipped me the exact damaged, crumpled box that I did not leave with. I don't think I have ever been more frustrated with a sales associate in my life. I cannot wait to support Best Buy's competition in the future.

Came here to buy the wife an iPad for Xmas. Wanted to finance they said no problem, somehow I end up getting mailed a credit card! I’m sure the guy got some kind of bonus for doing that. I’m away from town most of the month so I wasn’t able to get it changed. Wife sees the card in the mail so the surprise is ruined, but whatever. Then I tried to get my bank account linked with the card for payments. They have a system to do it manually or automatically with a third party that the fine print says will give them access to track all your bank transactions, heck no! So I set it up manually and they link to account but when I try to pay says it’s not linked, so I call customer service. They say they have no record of my information after they already made micro deposits and withdrawals out of my account! Very frustrating and won’t be doing business with them again.
