The aggressive sales pitching that starts are SOON as you walk in has opened my eyes as to why box stores are closing. I can’t browse without someone aggressively trying to sell me something. They can’t take hints either when you politely decline FOUR TIMES.

Getting a hold of a rep at the store is impossible, so if you need to get in touch with someone at a specific location, good luck! Purchased an iPad, after rep Guillermo said our device was fully backed up, trusted him and left. After getting home and trying to upload the backup on the new device, turns out, he was wrong (lucky me) and our new device couldn’t locate any backups, and we ended up losing 3/4 years of photos, videos, and files. After attempting to call them at the store, their A.I. rep is helpful if you need a locations hours of operation and address, but that’s as far as it goes. Advice for those replacing old devices, DO NOT take their word for it, verify that the backup was completed and then allow them to erase everything. I hope Best Buy stays in business a long time, and doesn’t commit a circuit city fail, just saying.
