I highly recommend the Best Buy and Geek Squad in San Marcos! I spent countless hours at home trying to load Microsoft software onto my PC with no success. I called to set up an appointment and loved that they gave me the option of a home visit or immediate in-store assistance.I chose to bring my PC into the store and had an excellent experience from start to finish. I was greeted by a friendly young lady at the entrance with zero wait time. The Geek Squad technician who helped me was incredibly personable, knowledgeable, and professional. He got to work right away, successfully loaded the software in a short period of time, explained the process clearly, and made sure all my questions were answered.The entire process was quick, pleasant, and cost a very nominal fee. A job well done! I will definitely return here for any future computer-related needs.

I purchased a Demo model Lenovo laptop yesterday and the initial experience went very well. Got a great deal because it was a demo.
But the next day I went to go pick it up through the Geek squad when I got home and started the set up process within a few minutes it shut down. Apparently the Geek squad had charged it for only a short time and went looking for the USB cable connection to recharge but it wasnt in the open box.
I call this location and spoke to the associate my situation and she explained to me that because it was s demo and an open box they did not provide any of the necessary cables or cords to recharge it. UGHHH! I Told her I wish they would have told me that before I left the store ..I would have gladly purchased this necessary item.
I asked if I made a return trip if they could give me one at no charge for the inconvenience. She responded unfortunately no.
Being a person that worked in customer service for over 20 years when I was in the work force Best Buy employees should all be trained in what true ,good quality ,customer service really is and should be!
I tried responding to the websites from their response but was not successful.
