Yesterday, April 23, 2026, I went to this store as my last stop. I had bought a Midland Emergency Alert Radio, a year and half ago. I walked in. I was surprised by the windswept atmosphere as equipment like TVS and electronics had disappeared, leaving opened spaces. I went up to an employee to tell him this " Midland battery is mine and I'm telling you, so you don't think its the store's. " I didn't really have to say this because Best Buy no longer carries this battery. When I bought my emergency radio, Midland batteries were hanging there. The male attendant looked up the battery I have and told me, " We don't have it. You must order online." So I said " With tariffs the battery probably higher in cost. Do you have a Midland radio I can buy. They used to be over there on the right side." Again he said, " You must order them online. " A woman employee was listening to our conversation. She turned out to be the manager. I told her, " Corporate should bring back the Midland Emergency Alert Radio. The one I have is small and convenient. With Texas' unknown weather pattern, this is necessary. I'm not just asking for myself, but for others." She replied, " I have no say what can be brought into this store, but I'll send your ideas into headquarters. " I'm giving Best Buy 3 stars because of these helpful employees who were helpful in explanations. And perhaps in sending suggestions to Corporate. Home, I discovered I'm not so badly off with my Midland Radio. I found by reading its booklet it has 3 RECHARDING WAYS, Battery, USB, and Solar. I'm trying the other 2 in case of future turbulence weather.

Very disappointing experience with Best Buy and Geek Squad. Repairs are not done in-store and are shipped out, which led to a long wait time of about a month. My device was returned with a rounded-out screw left behind that wasn’t addressed. When I asked for help with something simple, I was told the only option was to ship it out again. I also pay for a Best Buy membership expecting real benefits, but was told there were no discounts or usable member advantages in my situation, which made the membership feel pointless. Overall, inefficient process and poor value for members
