Went in on a Sunday to get an iPhone battery replacement. They had one in stock but didnt have any Apple techs to do it. They said the earliest would be Tuesday. Went back on Tuesday and the guy says we don’t have in stock and it would be 2-3 weeks to get one. Then, it would be 2-3 hours to do replacement. Yeah, no thanks.
I tried calling for help with fixing loose joycons on a Nintendo switch I’ve had for three years, and was told I couldn’t even bring it in because I don’t have a warranty but I’m just trying to get help tightening six screws and I was never made aware of a warranty when I purchased it. Just frustrating because I don’t have the specialty tools and they sell switches all the time so if anyone would know they would, super disappointed with the lack of help or even trying to help. I’d literally pay for the repair but apparently that doesn’t matter, I don’t get it.
