Best Buy Temple

Went in to look at computers, and struggled to find what I was looking for. Eventually, somebody came up and asked if I needed help. I told him what I was looking for, but he didn't really listen. He repeated back to me what he thought I said. I corrected him, and he repeated it back incorrectly AGAIN...but with attitude. I told him what I had already looked at, but he led me right back to them. He then suggested "other" options...non gaming desktops, which is what i told him I was looking for. He asked what my budget was, and I told him. His face was indignant. "You won't find anything for that". He then showed me a laptop that was $50 over my max price. He then tried to pressure the sale. I told him no. He pushed financing. Again, I said no. Then he got another guy involved. At that point, I decided that I wasn't spending any more time in there. I went home and bought a desktop on Amazon for $150 less than my max, $200 less than the "cheap" laptop he was trying to push on me. My desktop arrives tomorrow. Its got 3xs the storage, a better chipset, and 4xs the RAM. There's a reason this Best Buy almost never has people inside. When your people try to push you into something you tell them you can't afford, then try to make you feel bad about it....that won't get you a sale. It will get you a reputation....and not a good one.

⭐ Best Buy – Temple, TX | 08-28-26 I stopped by Best Buy to ask about having a dash cam installed in my car. My grandsons bought it for me for my birthday, and I wanted to make sure it was installed correctly. I met with Nico in the installation department, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Nico was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. He explained the entire installation process, gave me an estimated time, and took the time to answer my questions. I really liked his approach, so I booked an appointment with him. When I brought my car back for the installation, Nico checked me in and once again explained what he would be doing. I left him to work his magic, and about an hour and a half later, the installation was complete. Nico showed me exactly what he had done and explained how everything was connected. He then got in the car with me and patiently went over how to operate the dash cam and all of its features. I really appreciated him taking the extra time to make sure I understood everything. I am very pleased with the installation and the service Nico provided. He definitely went above and beyond in my book! Everyone we encountered at Best Buy was friendly and helpful, and the Geek Squad team was kind enough to let us sit in their waiting area while the installation was being completed. If you need electronics installed in your vehicle, I would definitely recommend Best Buy and ask for Nico. He knows his stuff, takes pride in his work, and provides excellent customer service. The really short Mexican lady that works in the Computer Section in this store has a very NASTY Attitude! They only had two sales associates on the floor and she snapped at me when I asked was she the only one working the area!!! She needs to be re-trained or FIRED! Customers should not have to deal with stressed out miserable employees!

This Best Buy is about as average as can be
