I ordered an open-box LG OLED TV listed online in "Excellent" condition at this location. Based entirely on this order I opened a Best Buy credit card, rented a U-Haul, and drove over 30 miles with a friend to pick it up.
When we arrived, the TV was in terrible shape. It was missing the base and remote, and it had severe pixel burn-in. Even the counter associate admitted it was "Good" condition at very best.
I asked to speak with a store manager to make it right. His only "solution" was offering a Sony Bravia that had a visible scratch on the screen. When we politely suggested reasonable alternatives, such as a discount on a different unit or store credit to offset the trouble, the manager repeatedly stonewalled us with "I can't do it." He and his team totally failed to resolve a problem entirely caused by Best Buy's inaccurate online inventory.
This mistake cost me over $200 in U-Haul fees and gas, hours of my and my friend's time, and ruined my plans to pick up a desk that same afternoon. The complete lack of accountability and poor customer service at this location was shocking. I will never shop at this store again.
