I am extremely disappointed with my recent visit to this store. I drove 20 minutes to buy a cable that was listed on Best Buy’s own website for $12.99 (sold directly by Best Buy, not a third party). However, the price tag in the store was $30 for the exact same item—same length, same brand, same barcode.
When I asked for a price match, the employee scanned it and insisted they were not the same product, even though they were identical in every way. It felt like a blatant attempt to overcharge me. Ironically, I could have ordered it for store pickup online for $12.99 at that very moment, but they refused to honor it at the register.
I ended up buying the same cable on Amazon for $5, and with $4.99 shipping, it’s being delivered to my door in 3 hours. I will not be shopping at Best Buy again and certainly won't recommend them to anyone. Terrible customer service.

If you want a textbook example of someone who clearly has no interest in being at work, ask for Missy at this Best Buy. But be warned, she might drain your energy.
