Looks like this is a chronic problem with this location. Listing "Open Box - Excellent" despite not meeting Best Buy's criteria. I ordered an Open Box - Excellent QN990F from this location. It was after installation and mounting it was asking for a One Connect Box pairing. A what??? Then I took a good look at the "One Connect Box" (Similar to All prior models) no HDMI/USB/Coax ports... This specific model had a Wireless One Connect Box unique to it. So currently I can't connect my $8000 Theater System to it. I called the location's customer support and told me it might have been left in the product pick up location, but they weren't able to connect my call to product pick up so I had to drive 1.4hr ONE WAY. To their location and it wasn't there, the guys at the product pickup area are good and hard working, did their best to find it no complaint there. Then 2.5hrs back because now it's traffic. Contacted customer support for a replacement. They scheduled a Geek Squad tech to check it out and order the part. On the scheduled day the tech stated he's unable to order full components, only parts. So now I'm back to calling custom support, this second guy said they're unable to order parts because it's open box and to just "return it" ... That's a 120lb TV needing a $200 Uhaul and 5hrs to get there and back because no easy tag. No. An Open Box - Excellent should never be a gamble! Wondering if there's room for a lawsuit here since the false advertisement on product condition is so prevalent.

Customer Service Associates can only assist as much as they can see on their computer system. Associates are not trained on critical thinking to resolve an issue or Customer problem regarding their account
