Drove to the store to buy an item that said was available in store for an open box price and was told I couldn’t buy the item for that price because that’s the online price so the in store open box price is different, but it said it was available in store, why list it if I can’t go get it? I then asked if I could place a pickup order and was told yes I can but I’d have to pick it up tomorrow because it’s 7:30 and it has to process. I could see the item, with the red open box sticker and was told that they are kept at the service counter. Yet I can’t buy the item I drove here to get that was within reach. I did pay for the pickup but now I’m going to have to come tomorrow to get it creating a 2 day ordeal. I understand it’s the fault of the system, not the person helping me, however it is not a customer friendly system. 1/5 experience this time however overall I do enjoy buying my items from Best Buy in general, but this left a bad taste in my mouth.

The customer service here is pretty much worthless. I was looking for desktop speakers. Even though I was clearly sampling what demo speakers were working the four guys who were standing around didn't make any attempt to come over and offer assistance. When I finally did go over and ask for assistance I was told that a certain guy was very knowledgeable. However he didn't give me any more information than what I could just read on the box and was reluctant to do that. He basically came over and said "Here they are". Pretty much waste of time. I did purchase a set since I can bring them back in 2 weeks if I don't like them. It just seemed like they had a lot of sales people on the floor but none of them were really interested in helping people. Maybe a manager will read this and try and make some changes. Good luck Best buy, I guess I'm going to keep shopping at Amazon since it's basically the same thing of buy and return to get information on products.
