Best Buy Farmington

Call center told me they would trade in my Chromebook if I went in to a store. Went in to the store and they said they don’t trade in Chromebooks.

oh my gosh… Today is January 16, 2025 and I’m in the Farmington Utah store of Best Buy. I just had the most awesome service from a young man in the electronics department by the name of Josh. I came in not really knowing what type of laptop I wanted. I had spent several hours online today and decided to come in and take a look. I sort of explained to Josh what I wanted to use the laptop for… I asked him to show me the Apple products and then the Asus products and then some others. Josh was so patient with me. Whatever questions I asked him he answered me not in a condescending way whatsoever. He explained all the technical details in a way that I understood. He was professional. I finally settled on a laptop. Then I need it a Kate Spade accessory case and he was able to get that for me. I am so glad I came to the store. I almost went to Riverdale, which is near the school where I am an administrator. Something just told me to come to the Farmington store. And I am so glad that I did. I don’t know what type of training you give your employees but this particular young man Josh represented the best of customer service. If I need anything else from Best Buy, I will definitely come to this Farmington UT store and I will see if Josh is available. I will also let my friends know to look for him. Thank you.

I prefer the Riverdale store over the Farmington location. While the Farmington staff occasionally have a better product selection, they often come across as more frustrated and less patient with customers. In contrast, the team at Riverdale is consistently welcoming and professional, especially River, the manager. His exceptional leadership and customer service make all the difference, and because of that, I’ll continue choosing the Riverdale store over Farmington or any other electronics store.
