Well, I WANTED to buy a giant $1600 TV. Paid out of pocket and everything for it to be delivered. So many things went wrong. I needed the TV to be installed because my husband said he was working too much to do it himself. We both thought it would be faster and easier. Boy, were we wrong. I specifically stated that I needed a Monday or Tuesday delivery date. I AGREED to the 13th of July, and they later changed it to the 15th of July without my consent. I even made the delivery date was for 2 weeks out instead of 1 week specifically BECAUSE I couldn't do Wednesday. Then when I called to complain, they said the closest Monday appointment was mid August?! I purchased this TV in June!! So whatever. It was going to be Wednesday the 15th I guess and ruin my day. Then today (July 15th) comes around and guess what? The delivery guy calls me 30 minutes before the TV is supposed to be delivered to tell me IT'S OUT OF STOCK. I went into the store to ask if they could just give me the TV and refund the installation and hall away fees, but nope. Wanna hear the kicker? Turns out they receive shipments from Salt Lake for items they don't keep directly in stock at their store, but the delivery truck never goes directly from Salt Lake to Riverdale. IT GOES TO COLORADO FIRST. And my TV? It made it to Colorado, but never left Colorado. They couldn't even guarantee it'd be on the next delivery truck and didn't get sold in Colorado! After this experience, I have to say, unless you can walk out same day with whatever item you want to purchase... NEVER SHOP HERE I asked for a full refund. I'm gonna go try Costco or something once my refund comes in. SMDH.

I've been to this Best Buy many times, and it's consistently been a good experience. The store is clean, well organized, and it's easy to find what you're looking for without wandering every aisle wondering if the item actually exists. I enjoy that they have so many products on display, so you can actually get your hands on a laptop, keyboard, TV, or camera before deciding to buy it. That's something online shopping just can't replace. The employees have always been friendly when I've needed help, but they also don't hover over you while you're trying to browse. It's a nice balance. The checkout process has always been quick, and I've never felt rushed. My only real challenge is walking in for one cable and somehow convincing myself I should also look at the latest gadgets. Apparently electronics have a way of following me home. If you're shopping for tech, this location has always been worth the stop.

I'll set the scene: it's Wednesday night and I'm off a couple of hours earlier than usual and there's still about an hours worth of light left for the day. I want to watch a movie I haven't seen before with my new 4k tv, so I head to Best Buy because you know they should have a pretty good selection... so long as they aren't closed yet. I walk to the door to see the hours and phew, there is still a full hour before they close. But wait, someone is locking the doors... They see me and it leads to this exchange: "What are you here for?" 'To get a 4k dvd.' "4k? No we don't have that." 'Yall dont have 4k bluray dvds? It's the top dvd choice for the past decade.' "4k? Well are you looking for a player?" 'No, just a 4k dvd, I'm pretty sure yall have that, but if you are closing early Ill just go elsewhere.' Target is in the same parking area, and while not having the exact 4k dvd I wanted, they had many choices and I settled for 3 other titles I did want. I dont know if their selection is more or less than what BB has, as I wasn't allowed in to see their selection, but they were open and willing to take my money for products. It'll be a minute before I give BB another shot; plenty of retailers online and in person are willing to accommodate me.

Carson helped me out in choosing a TV today. His knowledge and input were excellent and helped me pick the perfect TV for our living room. After talking with him I’m realizing I would have picked the wrong TV if I walked out with the TV I originally thought I needed. Excellent and helpful staff, he was attentive while I did all sorts of googling etc in addition to what he was telling. Couldn’t have had a better experience today. Great work Carson!
