Always supported Best Buy by shopping (and buying) in store. Tried to return a couple unused and new items apparently outside 15 day return window. 15 days is nothing for busy people. Amazon just won my business. Pro tip: If you want to extend your return window—just buy a 180 dollar BB membership.

My entire Best Buy experience over the last week was one long string of failed customer service, broken processes, and outright misrepresentation. 1. Ignored in the American Fork store I waited over 30 minutes in the car audio section after two separate employees said they were sending someone. No one came. Not even a courtesy check-in. That’s Retail 101. They failed it. 2. Tried to buy a TV from the Orem store The TV was in stock on the shelf. The website showed it was in stock. I live 5 miles away. Best Buy refused to deliver it. A store that sells appliances and $3,000 TVs can’t deliver 5 miles? Seriously? 3. The subwoofer situation — the final straw I purchased a “Open Box – Excellent Condition” Kicker powered sub. Open box means tested, functional, and not used outside the store. What I received was: • scuffed • dirty • debris in the seams • obviously taken home and used • and ultimately BLOWN A certified installer hooked up a tone generator before connecting the wiring. It produced nothing. The sub was dead on arrival — and it was dead long before I ever touched it. Best Buy didn’t test it. They literally boxed a piece of junk and sold it as “open box,” hoping nobody would notice. That’s not open box — that’s trash in a box with a price tag slapped on it. 4. The return conversation was even worse When I brought it back and calmly explained the situation, instead of owning the mistake and replacing it with a factory-sealed unit, they tried to charge me the $140 difference because the only one in stock wasn’t open box. Absolutely not. If Best Buy sells a defective product under false labeling, that’s on them — not the customer. 5. The outcome I took the refund. I’ll take my business to the local certified Kicker dealer I originally went to — the one who actually treats customers like human beings. Best Buy? You lost a long-term customer and any future business opportunities with me or my company. Bottom Line: If you’re going to put a product on the shelf with an “open box” sticker, you’d better test it. If you want customer loyalty, you’d better value the customer. And if you sell me a broken product and shrug your shoulders, you’d better expect a review like this. Do better.

This place take advantage of elderly people, Verizon, employees look you confused and sell you new phone even if you don't need it hey don't deserve on star they are awful, they only care about the commission
