The so-called "Geek Squad" representatives refused to honor the warranty on a product I had purchased at the store, even though the product was still definitely within the warranty time frame. When I pointed this inconsistency out to them, the Best Buy reps replied they did not care to assist me any further. When I calmly asked to speak to a manager about the poor level of service, one of the Geek Squad reps advised me that he would go get a manager - but instead, went and flagged down a security officer - - who in turn told me I was to be escorted out of the store as though I were a criminal trespasser. The Geek Squad reps - having taken the piece of equipment I brought in on that occasion into their possession - refused to return the item to me! They would not honor the warranty, but they also refused to return the product to me when I asked for it back. However semi-functional, leaving the store with the original product would have been better than leaving empty-handed, which is exactly what happened. By my reckoning, I was robbed that day - Best Buy employees literally stole property from me that I previously bought and paid for, after having entrusted it to their care. The store employees also refused to allow me to speak to a manager of any sort. Having a Geek Squad rep lie to my face, allowing me to believe that he was going to locate a manger to speak with me, and instead calling security and labelling me as a criminal trespasser, was severely rude and unprofessional. I've never had such a miserable experience at Best Buy before and I intend to take whatever steps I can to avoid being on the receiving end of such insulting harassment in the future.

I’m leaving this 5 star review because I can’t leave six stars. I came in at the last minute, on a day when everyone had to be exhausted and ready to go home (but they didn’t show it); and I was helped for an extra 30 minutes or longer by a friendly & knowledgeable support staffer named Edwin who answered my litany of random questions all over the store with cheerfulness and not a sign of impatience or tiredness or annoyance or anything. After my asinine and entitled marathon, I did buy a computer, and I think if not for Edwin’s great customer service, I probably would not have. And as far as I can tell, this staff keeps up a high standard of service that leaves me impressed.

Being the biggest store within the valley I was surprised by the number of displays and appliances that the location had to offer. I went in around November 20th or so. The staff generally was helpful, met with some great associates back in their PCs area who helped me find a Monitor no other store had. Would've left a better review but, as I went to checkout this shorter gentleman up at the counter said he could help me - only to get pulled away to do store pick-up, he didn't at all bother to make an effort to get someone over to continue the transaction or move me to the other register. Instead, pulled customers from the line behind and ignored me for around 10 minutes or so until I moved back into the line to meet with him again. Odd transaction, didn't catch their name or anything but apart from that would definitely recommend if you're looking for a broader inventory of gaming accessories and stuff to look through as far as Best Buys are concerned.
