I had an extremely disappointing experience at this Best Buy store due to poor management by the manager, Mathew. I had purchased items through the app for same-day pickup, but because of his lack of organization, I had to wait several days for my order to be switched to delivery just to receive my computer. When I finally received the laptop, I encountered a BitLocker issue upon logging into my Microsoft account. I returned to the store for assistance, but instead of helping me, the manager was rude, dismissive, and even threatened to call the police when I requested help deactivating BitLocker. This was shocking, especially since the laptop was under the two-week warranty. He tried to convince me to either return the product as if I didn’t like it or pay $100 to fix it, which goes against the warranty policy. I felt I was treated poorly, possibly due to my skin color, and as a loyal customer who lives just a few feet from this store, I was deeply hurt and frustrated. I will not return to this store unless actions are taken and the manager is replaced. I urge others to avoid this store until these issues are addressed. Mathew owes me and likely other customers an apology for his unprofessional and arrogant behavior.

Went in for help to buy a cell phone. Instead the associate started a Best Buy credit card application without explaining what it was, just kept saying "I'll tell you at the end." Been a while since someone tried that one

I went to pick up an order I had placed, and although I had everything necessary to verify my purchase, including the email receipt and a picture of my photo ID (as my wallet had been stolen just two days prior), the manager on duty refused to release the item. Despite my explanation of the situation and the urgency of receiving the item—intended as a Christmas gift for my younger brother—the manager suggested I cancel my order and wait 3–5 business days for a refund, stating that nothing could be done. What made this experience even more disheartening was what happened later. When my wife went to the same store to pick up the order, she was not asked for any identification and was able to retrieve the purchase without issue. This inconsistency in policy and treatment leaves me feeling hurt, upset, and, quite frankly, discriminated against based on how I was perceived. To further add to my frustration, the item my wife was given turned out to be incorrect. Not only did I face unfair treatment, but I also did not receive the item I had ordered, compounding my disappointment.
