The people in the stores are great to work with..although, the Geek Squad delivery services suck. Took me 3 weeks to get 2 out of 3 appliances installed, and they only ended up doing one. I was stood up twice, and I ended up canceling part of my order and got Home Depot to install the same appliance for cheaper in 3 days. The other appliance that they just dropped off instead of installing was finished by a 3rd party vendor on Thumbtack. All I got in compensation was a gift card. I've spent over $30,000 over the last 5 years with Best Buy, and I deserved better. Nobody returned my emails either. Very disappointed.

I brought my PC parts to be assembled under the impression that my Total Tech membership would cover the service and offer protection for the parts—this was confirmed to me by an employee during the purchase process. After spending extra money to get high-quality parts based on that assurance, I was later told they wouldn’t be covered.
If I had known the coverage was limited or didn’t apply to self-purchased components, I could’ve made a different decision or chosen more affordable parts. I feel misled and disappointed, especially since I trusted the information given to me by a Geek Squad agent.
The build service itself was fine, but the miscommunication around Total Tech made the experience frustrating and more expensive than necessary. Transparency matters—especially when customers are investing in expensive tech.
