So first of all, I'll own my mistake here that I did not check the return policy, but will argue that I wasn't aware that any store had a 15 day return policy anymore. I was a week past the "holiday return window" that is really no different than their normal window if you're buying close to Chritmas (it's helpful if you're buying in October ONLY if your recipients are on their returns, which obviously Best Buy is banking on them not). I saw this walking into the store, so asked for store credit that I planned to go use on another Nintendo item for my child. The cashier I had seemed to want to help me with this, however the person he asked on the next register just said "no". As a side note, I've never returned something with a receipt past the return policy where the store refused store credit. It is insane to me that a store will hang on to $80 and lose a customer, rather than provide store credit and keep one that will likely spend way more over time. When I got home and chatted with Best Buy's customer service, I was told twice that I should have "asked for a manager and a one-time courtesy refund". They also sent me their return policy twice, however this "ask for a manager and courtesy" was not outlined so how was I supposed to know. I'm not sure how Best Buy competes with other retailers with their customer service, let alone an insane return policy. However, I will again own that mistake, but don't make the same one. Target and Walmart let you return stuff way longer, plus Target's customer service is top notch.

Youssef provided excellent customer service and demonstrated great knowledge of the products. He took the time to explain everything clearly, especially the Apple products, which helped us feel confident in our purchase. Because of his help, we ended up buying more Apple items than we originally planned. Great experience overall
