On February 26, 2026, I visited your Best Buy location (#269) in Springfield, VA, at approximately 1:43 PM. My husband and I were in search of an affordable laptop when a sales associate offered us an open box item, which he claimed was a more economical option than purchasing the same model brand new. However, upon returning home, we found that the laptop had not been reset and still contained the previous owner's login information. When I called the store to address this problem, I was informed that I would need to bring the laptop back for a reset. To my dismay, I learned that I had paid $347.00 for the open box item, while a brand new version was priced at only $350.00. I feel that we were misled by the sales associate, and I have many concerns regarding this experience. I sincerely hope to receive an apology for the inconvenience caused.
The employees are hit or miss. Some are really helpful and go out of their way, while others are there to earn a paycheck.
