I visited this Best Buy location to purchase a PS5 controller. The display price on all controllers was listed as $54.99, so I selected one and proceeded to checkout. At the register, I was informed that the price was actually $59.99. I explained that all controllers on the shelf were clearly marked at $54.99. The associate stated that I should have scanned the QR code on the price tag to verify the correct price.
I expressed that as a customer, I should be able to rely on the posted price without needing to scan a QR code, and I requested assistance from a manager. When the manager arrived, she adjusted the price but did not explain what the issue was or acknowledge whether the shelf pricing was incorrect. When I attempted to ask for clarification and requested her name, she did not respond and instead asked for my name, which was already visible on the screen.
I also mentioned that an acknowledgment of the pricing error and a brief apology would have been appreciated. The manager did not respond and walked away. While the price was ultimately corrected, the overall interaction felt dismissive and lacked basic customer service professionalism.

Most of best buy locations blow, but this location is on a whole different level. I guess it goes back to top management. They will never see my face again

Once again bad experience with Best Buy just this time at the Springfield location. We originally were going to have a tv shipped then we chose to just pick it up , but of a drive to do so but we’re willing to have it the same day . We arrive at Best Buy and there was an issue with the system so we decided to wait it out . 3 hours waiting by the way . We go in again he says there’s a chance we can still get it the same day . So we asked if we could cancel and repurchase , we were told by an employee that we could do that also. So we go to look for the LG representative, not anywhere to be seen . The Samsung representative was there instead and he was so helpful , went out of his way to help us . The other employees told him we can just wait … terrible customer service he said I’m sorry and we left . We have ordered at another location and picking up. Don’t know what the issue was . Simple things guys simple things .

I waited in line for about 20 minutes and was next to be helped. Several employees walked in and out, but no one acknowledged the line or offered any assistance. Eventually, a young lady came over and asked, “Are you ready?” I replied that I had been ready for a while. Her attitude felt very nonchalant and lacked any sense of customer service or emotion. Overall, the experience was disappointing.
