I came to Best Buy to get a gaming headset and controller for my PS5, and wasn’t greeted until I was already past the entrance and in an aisle. The controller I wanted was locked in a crate. I asked a “black shirt” with glasses in the home theater department for assistance, and I was brushed off and told to find a “blue shirt” for help, and he continued to do what he was doing previously. Which was absolutely nothing. Luckily Ryan from the warehouse was in the gaming department stocking the items, and instead of brushing me off, he found a key, unlocked the crate, and took the item to the register for me to check out. It’s interesting that his customer service exceeded that of the floor associates.

I’m so disappointed with this store and against my better judgment I bought a desktop here, despite the negative reviews. I’ve gone to this location twice to inquire about a desktop. The first salesperson was not helpful. The second one was, but the Geek Squad has taken their time wiping my old computer and transferring data to the new one. My ticket shoes that my “repair” was completed more than 24 hours ago but I can’t get a human at the Springfield store to answer the phone, and I still haven’t received the magical text message to schedule pickup. The customer service reps (who are not located at the store) confirm the repair is done but the computer is not ready for pickup. Make it make sense. It should not take 5 days to wipe a computer and install new software - especially after I was told it would take 48 hours.

John is the best man in the world. He is very helpful and patient.
The employees in the cell phone department need to fix and replace items on the shelf instead of standing around watching others work
