I’ve had Apple Care for years. I got a screen replaced once three years ago and it still cost$. OK. The new crack in my IPhone screen was deemed not deep enough to fix. OK. The phone screen is not responsive on two corners. Deemed only fixable if I go to either the Richmond or the Virginia Beach stores and they may not even do the repairs. These locations are 1 hour to 1.5 hours from me. They were sure they couldn’t guarantee my repairs. I also brought in my Mac laptop for repair- you guessed it- they deemed my laptop beyond help. Is the Apple Care a scam by Apple and/or Best Buy?

The first thing im doing after setting up my new $600 monitor is writing the awful review that Xgum deserves. Let me begin, with about two weeks ago, when we also purchased an Amazon echo device from him. He was very rude when I declined the warranty. But today was definitely worse, to the point I am actually writing a review which I NEVER do. This is the second occurrence of his consistently uncalled for rude interactions with customers declining the protection plans on items. Went there to pick up a monitor today and everything was fine until I got to check out, my girlfriend and I were checking out and the employee Xgum, was very rude and unprofessional, he kept trying to push the warranty on me consistently and after some consideration, I decided not to get it and he came back in a rude tone and said "ha you are going to need it" and then chuckled, I brushed that one off my shoulder then after completing the transaction, I kindly asked, "if I came back within the next week and change my mind about the total pro membership, would this be covered under that?" He then did not answer my question, didnt even bother to look me in the face, and stated in a very rude tone, while chuckling, and said, "someone else can help you with that." Due to this being consistent behavior from him, I will be going to Newport news Best Buy from now on and I will not bring my business back to the Williamsburg location again, its worth the extra 15 minutes or so of a drive to shop at the Newport News location instead. Their employees are much more knowledgeable and know how to treat valued customers.

Excellent customer service, rep was super attentive and helped me with what I needed. Also I was greeted immediately upon entering the store , truly appreciated all of their help.
