Bought a car starter off Best Buy.com that offered free install with purchase. I had to put my cars make, model and year in the system in order to only have options that would fit my car. Booking schedule was wayyy out for my towns Best Buy so I drove 1.25 hours to the Williamsburg location. When I got there I was told the appt would take 2.5-3 hrs when the appt time said 1.5 hrs. Then I was told my cars keyless entry may possibly malfunction with the remote start installed (again I had entered all my car info before buying the device). I was then upsold a different model that would work for my cars keyless entry. Then to find out that the tech there couldn’t even install it. The tech himself was wonderful and kind but the whole process took about 3 hours including travel time and in the end NOTHING got done. It was a huge waste of time. I was rescheduled to my hometowns Best Buy and was called a few days later to put say they don’t even install remote starts there.

Stopped in today (1/6/2026) and tried to buy a vinyl album that was marked $18.99 but scanned at $22.99. When I brought it to their attention I was told that the barcode was incorrect and the price was $22.99 so I asked them to do a price correction which is standard retail operating procedure but they would not correct their mistake so I walked out without making a purchase. Now they return the LP to their inventory and see how long it takes for someone else to purchase. Absolute horrible customer relations and all because of their mistake of $4.00. Not a proper way to run a business!!!
