Bought a 43-inch Samsung tv from Best Buy July 24 at Capital Mall as my tv @ home was losing picture. As it turned out, the issue was my internet . I attempted to return my new 43-inch Samsung (unopened box) Aug. 14 . I was denied as I exceeded their 15-day return policy. Incredible. I will never shop at a Best Buy store again. That's my policy.

I had a microwave oven that broke down, so I looked online to see if Best Buy recycles appliances like microwave ovens. When I arrived at my local Best Buy carrying the microwave, the greeter informed me that they do not accept microwaves for recycling. I showed him what I had found online, and he suggested that I go to customer service and speak with the manager.
When I talked to the manager, he confirmed that Best Buy does not accept appliances like microwave ovens due to the risk of foodborne illness. I explained that the oven was broken and even provided him with a link to the information I had found, but he still refused to take it. I suggested he contact the company to update their policy.
As I was leaving, the greeter told me to "have a nice day," and I responded in frustration. I was turned away with my broken appliance. I’m confused as to whether this is an internal policy or a company-wide rule. I don't appreciate my time being wasted or the false advertising.
If Best Buy is concerned about appliances being a "health hazard," then I wonder why they accept Roombas, which are technically vacuum cleaners. In reality, all appliances—including TVs, cell phones, and computers—can be considered health hazards.
This was the most unprofessional experience I've had with staff, and I will not shop at this Best Buy again.

Got a new hard drive and asked if I could get my data moved from my old drive to the new one. Clerk who rung me up said no problem and that it’d definitely move my OS as well. I asked price and timeframe, rep said $99 and usually just a few hours. That rep set me an appointment with geek squad for later that same day. When I came back for my appointment the new rep told me I couldn’t have my content transferred without my full desktop computer in store. I was also told it’d be $250, that I would have to be a member with them and that it could take 3 days or more to accomplish. Completely ridiculous upsell attempt and when I was firm that I only want what I was offered the rep insisted they couldn’t provide the drive cloning service I’d asked for and set an appointment for. Cannot recommend geek squad at this location unfortunately.
