For 12 months, our laptop kept locking up every few days. After awhile, we would take it to the geek squad, it would just be restarted. I couldn't get it to lockup while there. Finely the 12 month warranty was up so they told me it might be eligible for trade in. That didn't pan out because it was to new and wasn't listed in the trade in list. We continued to deal with it for 3 more months. And when we inquired about it trade in value again, they stated $140. Better than throwing into trash can. So we looked at replacement laptops in store and found something that would work. We went back to customer service to see the rated condition assessment, and was told cosmetic was good, but because of the problems I had explained, it had no resale value. Took it home and dealing with the HP laptop lockup.
