CUSTOMERS BE AWARE OF POOR PROCEDURES AT THE PUYALLUP BEST BUY STORE!
The Puyallup Best Buy store handed out an order of a TV and Apple Pen worth $472 to thieves on April 11, 2025. These thieves took our VISA card, went online and ordered the TV and Apple Pen through our Best Buy account. Then they went to the counter in Puyallup and picked them up. I called the store the next day and asked for the manager to respond to us how/why did they allow pickup of these items when it was not us that were picking them up! If they had asked for ID, it wouldn't have been us, and they wouldn't have handed out these items! Obviously, they didn't ask for ID because it was not us that picked up these items, it was thieves! I waited over 2 months, and the Puyallup store did not respond to my phone call, even after I also filled out a response to an Email Best Buy survey telling them that I had not been contacted as they said they would! Today I called and found out there is no way the manager will take a message or a call, that we would have to take our time and gas money to travel from Olympia to Puyallup to talk directly with the store manager! So, was the agent on my first call lying about telling me that the manager would be getting back to me? This is VERY POOR customer service, and a major inconvenience for us! They obviously didn't ask for ID for pick up and they won't take a call or return a message! Not happy with this store! They need to improve their procedures! Buyers beware of poor customer service at the Puyallup Best Buy Store! We have to assume that they must not have asked for ID, so therefore your account may not be safe at the Puyallup Best Buy store!
Very Unhappy Customer - June 4, 2025
They were helpful and immediately upon walking into the store, an associate helped me find a phone mount for my vehicle that also happens to be a charger! It's pretty cool. I was in and out of the store in about 10 minutes flat.
