We were originally directed to the Geek Squad in Oshkosh from AT&T in Fond du Lac, where we were informed they could no longer provide the service we needed. The associate there kindly helped us schedule an appointment in Appleton. Unfortunately, our experience at the Appleton location was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, we were met by Lexi, who was unprofessional and dismissive from the start. It turned out that our appointment had been mistakenly scheduled for the following day. Rather than trying to help resolve the issue, Lexi immediately asked for the name of the associate who scheduled it. While we sat on hold with the call center trying to retrieve that information, Lexi offered no assistance. When we asked if there was a direct line to the Oshkosh store, Lexi walked to the back and returned saying, “No, I got nothing.” When we asked why the associate’s name was needed, Lexi responded, “Then I would know who to yell at.” This response was not only inappropriate but showed a lack of professionalism and concern for customer service. Lexi also informed us without reviewing our case that even if we kept the appointment for the next day, it would be too late in the day to complete the work. This was a bold assumption given that she hadn’t even looked at the product or service needed. After driving over an hour to Appleton, we left frustrated and disappointed. We canceled our appointment and will be seeking service elsewhere to avoid another experience like this.
