Very unhappy with Best Buy. The reason I purchase a warranty is to be covered if my appliances have issues. My dryer stopped heating so I called Best Buy thinking I was talking to someone in the Eau Claire Geek department only to find out after going through all the questions and transfers I was actually talking to someone out of the United States. I told them I needed to be connected to someone in the store, they told me that is not an option. Told I had to set up an appointment with them which I did. I had to wait 6 days for someone to come to the house. I was told on Wednesday that someone will be coming between 12-5 On Thursday. I waited all day and no one showed up, I again tried to contact Best Buy and again was told I could not speak to anyone in the store. So upsetting so Friday I called again to have my issue escalated, was told someone would call me back. Again I had to wait, finally got the call only to be told I have to make a new appointment as there is nothing they can do. Are you flipping kidding!! So frustrating, I now know to never to buy from Best Buy but to buy from another reliable retailer that has actual people I can connect with and get the service I need without having to go through so much hassle.

The staff was decently knowledgeable. As soon as you enter, they do greet you, which is nice. If you have any questions, you can approach anyone at the store. Each department seems like they had a pretty good knowledge. I was mainly looking for a laptop and they assisted me with that then I moved to a TV that I want to get and they assist me with that as well. They are not overly pushy for you to buy items so that’s always nice.

The support at the store is fantastic, but their online support is beyond a nightmare to deal with. I received a faulty washer/dryer combo unit & it took 7 orders & several supervisors to get my replacement! 1 of the supervisors entered it as a warranty claim, which voided my expensive 5 yr warranty! It was 3 days after I received it so it should have been processed as an exchange. It's now a year later & I've had to purchase 3 warranties because their outsourced support couldn't handle a simple exchange properly! They also cancelled my total+ membership, without consulting me! It's now a year later & I'm still fighting to get the refund that should've been issued when it was cancelled. I purchased several items under my membership & now NONE of my items have any warranties beyond what the product offered. They have refused to attach my previous purchases to my new membership, nor are they willing to cover the cost of additional warranties. If you added up all the hours in a day, I literally spent weeks on the phone & chat support trying to get all of this fixed! 1 of the store managers agreed to sit down with me to sort this all out & was extremely helpful. He even allowed me to repurchase the 5 yr warranty, attached it to the unit & provided me with a receipt just in case online support made any other mistakes. Every time I logged in, the prices of everything changed & prior history just disappeared from my account. SHADY PRACTICES ACROSS THE BOARD! I was provided the contact info for corporate & have yet to receive a response. THOROUGHLY DISGUSTED & WON'T BE PLACING FUTURE ORDERS FOR ANYTHING IMPORTANT.

We got our washer dryer installed by your team. He told me they couldn’t do the dryer because they only had 6ft tubes. The box the guy handed me at the end to do myself said 8ft. I’m pretty sure they just didn’t want to do the work.
