Best Buy Eau Claire

Not very helpful on the computer side. The associate couldn't see very good and didn't have much knowledge in computers. I need to start looking for a different place to buy electronics.

The store itself is very nice with a large supply of equipment. Sales person and Management is very helpful and knowledgeable. However… there is no way to contact the local store if you have a problem that cannot be addressed by their offfsite customer service center. I drove 90 miles to Eau Claire to buy a Dell computer only to find that the Dell display had been taken down to rearrange the area for something else. I returned home unable to purchase something i could actually see. I tried to call the Eau Claire store a few days later but could only reach an offsite customer service center. They were not able to tell me any information regarding the local Store if they had reassembled the Dell display. The offsite customer service center said they are not given a number for the local stores and they are not allowed to put customers in contact with the local stores. I therefore cancelled my Best Buy membership and purchased elsewhere. There are some things that cannot be answered by an offsite call center.

I feel best buy has gone down hill since it became more of a spaced licensed stored. Nice staff always there to greet but otherwise, eh.
