Best Buy Eau Claire

Really poor experience. I went to look at fridges last night and found an open box one that was exactly what I was looking for. It was marked $1559.99. I needed to make sure I had arrangements to pick it up (they won’t ship open box items) so I left and planned to purchase it the next morning when they opened. I looked at it on the app the next morning and it had shot up to $1839.99. I called and spoke with two different people to see if they would price match it from the night before and they both couldn’t give me a clear answer, as they were at a call center and not at the actual store. I asked if they could transfer me to the store and they said they could not because they don’t have phones at the actual store and haven’t since Covid. I drove a half hour to talk to them in person and the associate said he would see what he could do. He came back and told me the only way they could price match it is if I bought a year of their premium membership for $30 (mind you, I already have their credit card. Apparently the premium membership is something different.) I called a family member to talk it over and we both decided that it didn’t seem right, as the fridge was literally lower just the night before. It also is an open box fridge, which should really be going down in value as it is already damaged and sitting out for people to touch. I returned to the associate and he asked what I decided. I told him that we were not going to buy it. He didn’t say another word to me, but walked away and said “bro, she’s not going to buy it” into his earpiece. I definitely feel like I made the right decision after that, and am super disappointed in every part of our experience. Search elsewhere, they are not there to help you.

I love these best buys they greet you whenever you come in they give you help all the time. And they get the new phones on the shelf right away.

The greeter asked what I was looking for and walked me to the item. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes.
