Very unhappy with Best Buy. The reason I purchase a warranty is to be covered if my appliances have issues. My dryer stopped heating so I called Best Buy thinking I was talking to someone in the Eau Claire Geek department only to find out after going through all the questions and transfers I was actually talking to someone out of the United States. I told them I needed to be connected to someone in the store, they told me that is not an option. Told I had to set up an appointment with them which I did. I had to wait 6 days for someone to come to the house. I was told on Wednesday that someone will be coming between 12-5 On Thursday. I waited all day and no one showed up, I again tried to contact Best Buy and again was told I could not speak to anyone in the store. So upsetting so Friday I called again to have my issue escalated, was told someone would call me back. Again I had to wait, finally got the call only to be told I have to make a new appointment as there is nothing they can do. Are you flipping kidding!! So frustrating, I now know to never to buy from Best Buy but to buy from another reliable retailer that has actual people I can connect with and get the service I need without having to go through so much hassle.
The staff was decently knowledgeable. As soon as you enter, they do greet you, which is nice. If you have any questions, you can approach anyone at the store. Each department seems like they had a pretty good knowledge. I was mainly looking for a laptop and they assisted me with that then I moved to a TV that I want to get and they assist me with that as well. They are not overly pushy for you to buy items so that’s always nice.
