Took three electronic items in to recycle. The establishment was very clean, staff were very helpful and efficient, and they took the items in very quickly!!

I was greeted immediately and asked for help purchasing an appliance. I waited for about 15 minutes for a sales associate (Andrew) to finish helping another customer. Once they concluded, the sales associate walked away so I had to follow him back to the front of the store for help. I asked him to provide assistance for the item I wanted. Stock was unavailable, so he set up the order and delivery with the unit I’d requested. I showed him my existing microwave and I was surprised that he never confirmed size comparability. After paying for the appliance, delivery, and installation charges, Andrew handed me my receipt. Out of curiosity, I asked about what their install folks do with the units they’re replacing (e.g., recycling). Andrew then said he’d forgotten to tell me that there’s an extra charge to haul away old appliances. The assistant manager, Noah, stopped by and asked me why I questioned the extra charge. No introduction. No care to carefully listen. Instead, he seemed upset that I questioned why a second charge was required. His aggression and failure to understand made me uncomfortable, so I asked to simply cancel the sale. Andrew kept questioning my request but eventually complied when I asked for a second time. Shopping in a retail location (vs online) is only enjoyable when service is exceptional and meets expectations.
