Never again will I shop at Best Buy.
I’ve been extremely disappointed with the way Best Buy and Geek Squad handled my recent experience.
First, I took an entire day off work to be home for a scheduled technician appointment. Best Buy/Geek Squad canceled the appointment, and I never received the service I was promised.
I also purchased a five-year Geek Squad Protection Plan, yet when I needed assistance, the plan was not honored in a way that resolved the issue. Best Buy didn’t make a meaningful attempt to offer a return or exchange.
I even took the TV to the store myself for disposal, only to be told they don’t dispose of TVs of that size. I was then told they could schedule an appointment to pick it up—but only for a $75 disposal fee.
To make matters worse, a supervisor at the SW 3rd Street store told me to simply leave the TV out for big trash day because it would be gone the next day.
This entire experience has been frustrating and disappointing from start to finish.
Best Buy, you can—and should—do better. Customer service should mean standing behind the products and protection plans you sell, especially when customers have already taken time off work and gone out of their way to work with your company.
And I strongly believe you should do better for the Veterans and First Responders who support your communities.
After this experience, you have lost my business.

Had a pretty good time in there automative service. Had a new radio get installed within 40 minutes, the person was really helpful with setting it up properly and getting my factory backupcam working. My only complaint is the price that best buy has on electronics, the up charge for computers are crazy. I was checking around at specs, and one computer was advertising having a 3060 in it (according too whatever app they had on the screen) but when checking task manager, it had a 3050. Employees are some what helpful, I just dont recommend going here for any computer needs.
