Complete Nightmare, The Worst Experience I’ve Ever Had with Best Buy.
This review is about an online order issue, but I’m leaving it here because Best Buy as a company absolutely failed to help me. And this is, without exaggeration, the worst experience I have ever had with Best Buy.
I purchased a $400 AirPods Pro Max, and Best Buy—along with their carrier—failed at every single point of responsibility.
My package was never delivered to my address. FedEx’s own GPS showed that the driver delivered it to an entirely different building, nowhere near my home. There was no delivery photo, no signature, no call, no verification—nothing. Of course my AirPods disappeared, and I spent the entire night searching everywhere, not even finding a trace of it. The package simply vanished because of their carelessness.
And unbelievably, that wasn’t even the most infuriating part.
Best Buy’s response? First, they told me they could help and that a replacement might be arranged. I waited for updates. Then suddenly—out of nowhere—they sent a cold, dismissive email saying they could offer nothing. When I contacted customer service, I was told that their “back office team” had closed my refund request, claiming—without providing any evidence—that the item had been delivered. When I asked what proof they had, they couldn’t provide a single thing and just repeated that it was “beyond their authority.”
No investigation. No accountability. No empathy. They washed their hands clean of a $400 loss that their own carrier caused. In the end, I paid $400 for absolutely nothing.
This has been one of the most stressful and infuriating customer service experiences of my life. Best Buy has shown zero responsibility, zero transparency, and zero respect for their customers. The moment something goes wrong, they abandon you. I am genuinely shocked that a major retailer thinks this is acceptable. If you are considering buying anything valuable from Best Buy—especially something around $400 like my AirPods Pro Max—please reconsider. If your package gets misdelivered or stolen, Best Buy will not help you. They will leave you to deal with the consequences alone.
I will never trust Best Buy again, and I strongly advise others to stay away unless you are willing to risk losing hundreds of dollars with no support whatsoever.

Horrible customer experience. Even on a Tuesday afternoon.

Bought a Switch 2 here on launch day. Great service, and the staff did crowd control perfectly. Anytime I need to get a small device, whether it's a bluetooth speaker or ear pods I come to this Best Buy.
I had a really frustrating experience with a recent TV pickup order.
I bought a TV for $279 and used a $10 coupon, choosing same-day store pickup at the Culver City Best Buy because the app said it would be ready that day. When I arrived, they told me to wait 15–20 minutes while they prepared the order. While I was still in the store, I got an email saying my pickup location was changed to the Westfield Shopping Mall Best Buy.
I drove to the Westfield store, where they again told me to wait. After about 20 minutes, an employee said they had around 300 orders and couldn’t process mine that day, but assured me I could come back the next day at any time and my TV would be ready.
When I got home, I received an email saying my order had been cancelled—no one asked me, and this was after they had just told me I could pick it up the next day.
Now the same TV is $299, my $10 coupon is gone, and I ended up placing a new order at the higher price after wasting time driving to two different stores and getting conflicting information from staff.
If they had just told me from the beginning that the TV wasn’t available for pickup and suggested shipping at my original price, this whole situation could have been avoided. Instead, I was given bad information multiple times, my order was cancelled without my consent, and I’m now paying more for the same item.
