How do I check product availability at the Sterling Best Buy?
BestBuy.com will have the latest product availability information. Check back frequently, as product availability may change. Statuses such as Sold Out or Check Stores may update throughout the season. Products displayed as Sold Out, In Store Only, or Check Stores cannot be ordered by phone. Call Center agents are not able to provide guidance on inventory levels.
How do I check my order status?

I bought a gift that requires service/installation. When can I expect that to be scheduled?

“Open Box” items are a scam. They reduce products by ~$50 then try to get you to buy an “extended” warranty for ~$80. Their “open box” items are most of the time “used”. Their return policy can last up to 60 days during the holidays. So, open box items are actually used then placed back on the shelf. Open box item’s warranty starts from the person that bought the item first. The manufacture’s warranty could be completely void before you even open the box yourself. Bestbuy WILL then REFUSE to help at all if the item fails.
Therefore you’re better off buying a new product with a one year warranty and skip Bestbuy’s shady up-charge. Most electronics are unlikely to fail after the first year since factory defects are most apparent in that time. The 2nd year is just a money maker for the company. It’s no wonder there’s an entire sub store of Bestbuy outlets dedicated to their used stock.
PS: Employees know this but do not care. They are offered extended warranty’s at nearly 90% off and have the ability to abuse the system internally.

Disappointing experience with getting my fridge installed and old fridge removed—as in it hasn’t happened yet. Our $2000 fridge is still in the middle of our living room waiting to be installed. Called the person dropped it off but never installed due to a plumbing issue which was fixed same day and they never answered the phone to come back. We gave up on getting it installed on the original date and called the branch and got an alternative date for 3 days later. Called the day before after not getting a reminder text and were told it *wasn’t in the system* and would have to wait an additional 5 days. We will never buy from Best Buy again. They are clearly a scam and don’t care about you once you’ve purchased their product.
